1. Attestation of Power of Attorney

(i) Completed Miscellaneous services Application form dully filled, signed and pasted with a photo alongwith the system-generated Provisional Receipt.

Link for filling the Application Form online and printing copy for submission at https://indianconsularservices.mea.gov.in and select Mexico as country.

(ii) Applicant's valid original Indian passport and a photocopy of pages containing personal particulars and Passport Officer´s observation (s), if any.

(iii) Original and copy of legal stay permit in Mexico (FM card).

(iv) Copy of proof of residential address in Mexico i.e. electricity, water, telephone bill in the name of applicant or any family member (If utility bills are in the name of owner, then copy of owner's ID is required)  OR Copy of a lease deed /rent agreement with a copy of owner’s Mexican ID.

(v) Original Letter of Employer in English, signed by the authorized signing authority of the Company addressed to the Consular Officer, Embassy of India, Mexico City,    stating date of appointment and position in the Company. In case of private business, copy of Company’s registration with SAT.

(vi) Annexure E filled up in advance & signed before Consular Officer.

(vii) Power of Attorney in duplicate.

(viii) Two photographs size (5X5 cms), in color with white Background.

Fee and Mode of payment:

Fee to be deposited in respective banks and it is required to bring original fee payment receipts.

Please note that the fee is for each signature and stamp of the Consular Officer.

NOTE: All the pages of the Power of Attorney have to be signed by the applicant, photograph must be pasted as required and signed across. POA is to be signed by the applicant before the Consular Officer. Embassy does not prescribe any specific format/type of paper for Power of Attorney document.  The same should be as per your requirements, whether plain paper or Indian Stamp Paper. The person(s) signing the Power of Attorney must present himself/herself at the Counter.
