Applicants are required to come in person to the Consular Section, Embassy of India, Mexico City from Monday to Friday between 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with the applications properly filled out in advance.  Link for filling the Application Form online - https://indianconsularservices.mea.gov.in  and (select Mexico as country).

1. Attestation of Power of Attorney

1. Completed Miscellaneous services Application form dully filled, signed and pasted with a photo. Link for filling the Application Form online and printing copy for submission at https://indianconsularservices.mea.gov.in and select Mexico as country.

2. Applicant's valid original Indian passport and a photocopy of pages containing personal particulars and passport officer´s observation (s) if any.

3. Original and copy of legal Residence in Mexico (FM card).

4. (a) Copy of proof of residential address in Mexico i.e. electricity, water, telephone bill in the name of applicant or any family member (If utility bills are in the name of owner, then copy of owners Id is required)  or

(b) Copy of a lease deed /rent agreement with a copy of owner’s Mexican ID.

5. Original Letter of Employer in English, signed by the authorized signing authority of the company addressed to the Consular Officer, Embassy of India, Mexico City,    stating date of appointment and position in the Company. In case of private business, copy of Company’s registration with SAT.

6. Annexure E filled up in advance & signed before Consular Officer.

7. Power of Attorney in duplicate.

8. Two photographs size (5X5 cms), in color with white Background.

 NOTE: All the pages of the Power of Attorney have to be signed by the applicant, photograph must be pasted as required and signed across. POA is to be signed by the applicant before the Consular Officer. Embassy does not prescribe any specific format/type of paper for Power of Attorney document.  The same should be as per your requirements, whether plain paper or Indian Stamp Paper. The person (s) signing the Power of Attorney must present himself/herself at the Counter.

3. Attestation of a Commercial Document

2. Applicant's valid original Indian passport and a photocopy of pages containing personal particulars and passport officer´s observation (s) if any.

3. Copy of Mexican ID of the person who applies for the service.

4. A letter of request along with copies of registration/license of the business firm. Copy of the registration of the company at Ministry of Finance (Alta ante el SAT)

5. Document to be attested is to be presented in both languages in duplicate duly notarized by a Notary public in Mexico and apostilled by SRE  (Original & copy).

6. (a) Copy of proof of residential address in Mexico i.e. electricity, water, telephone bill in the name of applicant or any family member (If utility bills are in the name of owner, then copy of owners Id is required)  or

7. (b) If Copy of a lease deed /rent agreement with a copy of l owner’s Mexican ID.

8. Two photographs size (5X5 cms), in color with white Background.

4. Birth  Registration

2. Applicant's (both the parents) valid Original passport and a photocopy of pages containing personal particulars and passport officer´s observation (s) if any.

3. Original and copy of legal Residence of parents in Mexico (FM card).

4. (a) Copy of proof of residential address in Mexico i.e. electricity, water, telephone bill in the name of applicant or any family member (If utility bills are in the name of owner, then copy of owners Id is required)  or

(b) If Copy of a lease deed /rent agreement with a copy of l owner’s Mexican ID.

5. Original Letter of Employer in English, signed by the authorized signing authority of the company addressed to the Consular Officer, Embassy of India, Mexico City,    stating date of appointment and position in the Company. In case of private business, copy of Company’s Registration with SAT.

7. Notarised affidavit by both the parents that the minor does not hold the passport of another country nor do the parents intend to obtain passport of another country till the child attains full age.

6. Registration of Death

2. Copy of passport of the informant.

3. Original Indian passport, which is to be cancelled and returned to the person in charge of repatriation of Human remains.

4. Original Certificate of death apsotilled by SRE.

5. Autopsy Report.

8. Registration of Marriage (Solemnized as per Mexican Law)-

 In order to register the Marriage first you have to give a 30 days notice in two Indian newspapers and after 30 days with all documents as listed below you can register you Marriage in the Embassy in Mexico.

2. Original and copies of passports of both Bride and Bridegroom.

3. Original declarations by Bride and Bridegroom in duplicate.

4. Original and copy of legal Residence in Mexico (FM card/INE).

5. (a) Copy of proof of residential address in Mexico i.e. electricity, water, telephone bill in the name of applicant or any family member (If utility bills are in the name of owner, then copy of owners Id is required)  or

(b) Copy of a lease deed /rent agreement with a copy of l owner’s Mexican ID.

6. Original Letter of employer in English, signed by the authorized signing authority of the company addressed to the Consular Officer, Embassy of India, Mexico City,    stating date of appointment and position in the Company. In case of private business, copy of Company’s registration with SAT.

7. Two photographs each of both Bride and Bridegroom , size (5X5 cms), in color with white Background

8. Sworn affidavit of both stating being unmarried before the celebration of this marriage, and stating that both have no living spouse.

9. Original Marriage certificate duly apostilled by Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE).

10. Original full page of the newspapers in which the advertisements were published should be presented to Consular officer within 30 days of submission of notice of intended marriage.

11. Annexure E to be filled up and signed before consular officer by the Indian national.

3. If applicant holds a foreign nationality, copy of OCI/PIO card or Renunciation Certificate of   Indian Nationality and Indian passport.

4. Original and copy of legal Residence in Mexico (FM card/INE).

5. (a) Copy of proof of residential address in Mexico i.e. electricity, water, telephone bill in the name of applicant or any family member (If utility bills are in the name of owner, then copy of owners Id is required)  or

(b) Copy of a lease deed /rent agreement with a copy of l owner’s Mexican ID.

6. Copy of the Pension document.

11. Renunciation Certificate.

1. Online application form duly filled and signed wherever applicable. Applicants are advised to go through the guidelines/instructions before filling the online application form.
