Applicants are required to come in person to the Consular Section, Embassy of India, Mexico City from Monday to Friday between 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with the applications properly filled out in advance.

Payment is to be done in cash in the Consular section in the Embassy.

1.         Attestation of Power of Attorney

a.         Completed Miscellaneous services Application form dully filled up, signed and          pasted with a photo.

b.         Two photographs size (5X5 cms), in color with white Background.

c.          Applicant's valid original Indian passport and a photocopy of pages containing         personal particulars and passport officer´s observation (s) if any.

d.         Original and copy of legal Residence in Mexico (FM card).

e.         Copy of Proof of address (Utility bill, driver license) or lease agreement with a copy            of landlord’s Id.

f.          Original Letter of Employer in English, signed by the authorized signing authority of            the company addressed to the Consular Officer, Embassy of India, Mexico City,    stating date of appointment and position in the Company. In case of private           business, copy of Company’s registration with SAT.

g.         Annexure E filled up in advance & signed before Consular Officer.

h.         Power of Attorney in duplicate.

 

Fee:  MX$440 + 35 (ICWF) to be paid in Cash in the Embassy. 

Please note that the fee is for each signature and stamp of the Consular Officer.

 

NOTE: All the pages of the Power of Attorney have to be signed by the applicant, photograph must be pasted as required and signed across. POA is to be signed by the applicant before the Consular Officer. Embassy does not prescribe any specific format/type of paper for Power of Attorney document.  The same should be as per your requirements, whether plain paper or Indian Stamp Paper. The person (s) signing the Power of Attorney must present himself/herself at the Counter.


 

2.         Attestation of Civil Documents

a.         Completed Miscellaneous services Application form dully filled up, signed and          pasted with a photo.

b.         Two photographs size (5X5 cms), in color with white Background.

c.          Applicant's valid original Indian passport and a photocopy of pages containing         personal particulars and passport officer´s observation (s) if any.

d.         Original and copy of legal Residence in Mexico (FM card).

e.         Copy of Proof of address (Utility bill, driver license) or lease agreement with a copy            of landlord’s Id.

f.          Original Letter of Employer in English, signed by the authorized signing authority of            the company addressed to the Consular Officer, Embassy of India, Mexico City,    stating date of appointment and position in the Company. In case of private           business, copy of Company’s Registration with SAT.

g.         Annexure E filled up in advance & signed before Consular Officer.

h.         Original & copy of documents to be attested.

NOTE: Copies of civil documents issued by Mexican Government can be attested only if applicants get the documents duly notarized and apostiled by SRE.

 


 

3.         Attestation of a Commercial Document

a.         Completed Miscellaneous services Application form dully filled up, signed and          pasted with a photo.

b.         Two photographs size (5X5 cms), in color with white Background.

c.          Applicant's valid original Indian passport and a photocopy of pages containing         personal particulars and passport officer´s observation (s) if any.

d.         Copy of Mexican ID of the person who applies for the service.

e.         A letter of request along with copies of registration/license of the business firm.      Copy of the registration of the company at Ministry of Finance (Alta ante el SAT)

f.          Document to be attested is to be presented in both languages in duplicate duly         notarized by a Notary public in Mexico and apostiled by SRE  (Original & copy).

g.         Copy of Proof of address (utility bill, driver license) or lease agreement with a copy             of landlord’s Id to verify signatures.

Fee: MX$1,100 + 35 (ICWF) to be paid in Cash in the Embassy.

4.         Birth  Registration

 a.        Completed Miscellaneous services Application form dully filled up, signed and          pasted with a photo.

b.         Two photographs size (5X5 cms), in color with white Background.

c.          Applicant's (both the parents) valid Original passport and a photocopy of pages       containing personal particulars and passport officer´s observation (s) if any.

d.         Original and copy of legal Residence of parents in Mexico (FM card).

e.         Copy of Proof of address (Utility bill, driver license) or lease agreement with a copy            of landlord’s Id.

f.          Original Letter of Employer in English, signed by the authorized signing authority of            the company addressed to the Consular Officer, Embassy of India, Mexico City,    stating date of appointment and position in the Company. In case of private           business, copy of Company’s Registration with SAT.

g.         Annexure E filled up in advance & signed before Consular Officer.

h.         Notarised affidavit by both the parents that the minor does not hold the passport of          another country nor do the parents intend to obtain passport of another country till             the child attains full age.

i.          Birth Certificate issued by the Mexican Authority duly apostiled and attested by        the Embassy (Refer Attestation of Civil Documents).

 

Fee:    MX$ 440 + 35 (ICWF)- For Birth Registration.

            MX$ 220 + 35 (ICWF)- For Execution of Affidavit.

5.         Certificate of Identity

 a.        Completed Miscellaneous services Application form dully filled up, signed and          pasted with a photo.

b.         Two photographs size (5X5 cms), in color with white Background.

c.          Applicant's valid original Indian passport and a photocopy of pages containing         personal particulars and passport officer´s observation (s) if any.

d.         Original and copy of legal Residence in Mexico (FM card).

e.         Copy of Proof of address (Utility bill, driver license) or lease agreement with a copy            of landlord’s Id.

f.          Original Letter of Employer in English, signed by the authorized signing authority of            the company addressed to the Consular Officer, Embassy of India, Mexico City,    stating date of appointment and position in the Company. h.         Affidavit filled up by applicant requesting the service (This form is to be given in the           Embassy).

6.         Registration of Death

 a.        Completed Miscellaneous services Application form dully filled up by the informant,            signed and pasted with a photo.

b.         Copy of passport of the informant.

c.          Original Indian passport, which is to be cancelled and returned to the person in       charge of repatriation of human remains.

d.         Original Certificate of death.

e.         Autopsy Report.

7.         REGISTRATION OF A MARRIAGE (Solemnized as per Mexican Law)-

 

In order to register the Marriage first you have to give a 30 days notice in two Indian newspapers and after 30 days with all documents as listed below you can register you Marriage in the Embassy in Mexico.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

a.         Completed Miscellaneous services Application form dully filled up, signed and          pasted with a photo.

b.         Original and copies of passports of both Bride and Bridegroom.

c.          Original declarations by Bride and Bridegroom in duplicate.

d.         Original and copy of legal Residence in Mexico (FM card/INE).

e.         Copy of Proof of address (Utility bill, driver license) or lease agreement with a copy            of landlord’s Id.

f.          Original Letter of employer in English, signed by the authorized signing authority of            the company addressed to the Consular Officer, Embassy of India, Mexico City,    stating date of appointment and position in the Company. In case of private           business, copy of Company’s registration with SAT.

g.         Two photographs each of both Bride and Bridegroom , size (5X5 cms), in color with           white Background

h.         Sworn affidavit of both stating being unmarried before the celebration of this           marriage, and stating that both have no living spouse.

i.          Original Marriage certificate duly apostilled by Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) & attested by the Embassy (Refer under Miscellaneous Consular Services for      Attestation of Civil Documents).

j.          Original full page of the newspapers in which the advertisements were published     should be presented to Consular officer within 30 days of submission of notice of          intended marriage.

k.         Annexure E to be filled up and signed before consular officer by the Indian national.

 

Fee     : MX $ 880 + 35 (ICWF)- For Marriage Certficate.

            : MX$ 220 + 35 (ICWF)- For Execution of Affidavit.

 

Draft of notice to be given in the Newspapers for Publication.

Objections, if any, may be conveyed to the Embassy of India, Mexico City within 30 days.

8.         Life Certifícate

a.         Completed Miscellaneous services Application form dully filled up, signed and          pasted with a photo.

b.         Two photographs size (5X5 cms), in color with white Background.

c.          Applicant's valid original Indian passport and a photocopy of pages containing         personal particulars and passport officer´s observation (s) if any.

d.         If applicant holds a foreign nationality, copy of OCI/PIO card or Renunciation            Certificate of             Indian Nationality and Indian passport.

e.         Original and copy of legal Residence in Mexico (FM card/INE).

f.          Copy of Proof of address (Utility bill, driver license) or lease agreement with a copy            of landlord’s Id.

g.         Copy of the Pension document.

Service Fee:             GRATIS + 35 (ICWF) to be paid in Cash in the Embassy.


 

9.         Birth Certificate as per Passport.

a.         Completed Miscellaneous services Application form dully filled up, signed and          pasted with a photo.

b.         Two photographs size (5X5 cms), in color with white Background.

c.          Applicant's valid original Indian passport and a photocopy of pages containing         personal particulars and passport officer´s observation (s) if any.

d.         Original and copy of legal Residence in Mexico (FM card).

e.         Copy of Proof of address (Utility bill, driver license) or lease agreement with a copy            of landlord’s Id.

10.       NRI Certificate

a.         Completed Miscellaneous services Application form dully filled up, signed and          pasted with a photo.

b.         Two photographs size (5X5 cms), in color with white Background.

c.          Applicant's valid original Indian passport and a photocopy of pages containing         personal particulars and passport officer´s observation (s) if any.

d.         Original and copy of legal Residence in Mexico (FM card).

e.         Copy of Proof of address (Utility bill, driver license) or lease agreement with a copy            of landlord’s Id.

f.          Original Letter of Employer in English, signed by the authorized signing authority of            the company addressed to the Consular Officer, Embassy of India, Mexico City,    stating date of appointment and position in the Company. In case of private           business, copy of Company’s Registration with SAT.

g.         Annexure E filled up in advance & signed before Consular Officer.

h.         Affidavit filled up by applicant stating his Residency. (This form is to be given in the             Embassy).

11.       Police Clearance Certificate

PCC is issued based on the records available about the applicant in the online passport system and takes 2-3 working days. In cases where such records are not available, a clearance is required from authorities in India by making reference to the place of permanent residence of the applicant and such verification may take up to 4-8 weeks.

c.          Applicant's valid original Indian passport and a photocopy of pages containing         personal particulars and passport officer´s observation (s) if any.

d.         Original and copy of legal Residence in Mexico (FM card).

e.         Copy of Proof of address (Utility bill, driver license) or lease agreement with a copy            of landlord’s Id.

f.          Original Letter of Employer in English, signed by the authorized signing authority of            the company addressed to the Consular Officer, Embassy of India, Mexico City,    stating date of appointment and position in the Company.
